About Unity Massage: Unity Massage is a solo practitioner massage studio in the town of West Boylston, MA close to the city of Worcester. In the private outer room, there is space to sit among the plants, listen to the fountain, breathe deeply and refocus. The inner massage room is peaceful, with a vaulted ceiling, music if you wish, and a cozy, heated table. There is a/c in warmer months. Each massage is custom tailored to your needs that day. What's in a name? The word unity speaks of the interconnectedness of living organisms in our world... and too, the connections within our own bodies - muscles and connective tissue, organs, systems, physical and mental health. For example, when I massage, I know my touch is not just affecting a client's muscles, but nerves, fascia, the nervous system, and, in turn, other systems as well... the whole body and mind.

 

About Emilie: Emilie is a January, 2022 graduate of Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, where she received a stellar, pandemically unique education to prepare her for a career in Massage Therapy.  Emilie was originally drawn to the idea of massage as a form of alternative, holistic therapy for mind/body wellness when she worked as a RN in the early 2000s. More recently, Emilie taught ESL/ELL in a large urban school district, and then fourth grade math in a small, suburban district.

When not focused on her massage practice, Em finds joy in spending time outdoors with family, especially in hiking year-round, and swimming off the coast of Maine in warmer months. She likes to run, garden, read, bake, contra dance, and sing in her church choir. She is the proud Mama of six children. She lives with her life partner, their younger kids, and Pearl, the farmhouse dog.
